top notch travels: red bar

i've been spending my week in seacrest beach, fl with my aunt liz, enjoying the beach, great reads and the excellent food around town. one of our favorite spots to spend the evening is the red bar in grayton beach.
{snazzy lighting at the red bar}
the red bar in grayton beach, fl is an eclectic restaurant/live music venue that has been around for decades.  they have perfected the menu down to a chalkboard of six entrees.  i went with the blackened cobia, smashed potatoes, and house salad.  the cobia was a firm, mild fish and would serve as a good meat substitute for any pescetarian reading.  as usual dessert was a must, and a loaf size portion of bread pudding finished off a hearty meal.  we stuck around to listen to live music and mingle with the locals before parting ways.
{as a bread pudding connoisseur this was top notch}
the ambiance can’t be beat - a must go-to spot on 30A!

stay fly.
xo,
em for top notch
