for a bittersweet farewell dinner, two of my "teacher" friends and i went to chilam balam in lakeview. ever since going here on a date last summer, i try to make as many dinner plans as i can at this tiny restaurant. each time i've come the menu has new items added based on what is in season and each time it has been amazing.
for our springy dinner we indulged in: guacamole (a solid go-to start), blue marlin ceviche, roasted caulifower salad, corn masa memelas, seared shrimp, and grilled vegetable gorditas.
to top off this excellent meal we had the seasonal dessert, meyer's lemon pie with cream cheese ice cream. it was unreal.
